In 1941 at the age of 18 Dick Watson Sr. joined the R.C.A.F. and went to serve his country. After four years of flying fighter planes and being shot down three times, he returned home in 1945 as a war hero. It was at this time that he decided to fulfill his dreams of starting a tourism business on Kabinakagami Lake using his military earnings. Dick and his wife Edna married in 1946 and together they began to build their future at Pine Portage Lodge.

"WOW ANOTHER 20 POUNDER".......Dunham Party 2009

Dave Dunham from Burlington, ON. caught this great fish weighing in at 20# 41" what a nice catch.

Of course Dunham Sr. couldn't be out done by his son so he had to catch one too. Now there was quite the debate going on about who had the biggest fish. Sr. said his was 40" but their scale had broken so they couldn't weigh it. So we will let you decide!!!!!

.......And so pure Matthew had to endure the debate, we sure all day long. As we recall a couple of years ago you where the one with the big Northern..........and there was no debating that one.
